The  back and side woods used in the construction of this tenor ukulele are solid Flamed Maple.  The soundboard is highly figured book matched Bear Claw Spruce. All of the wood used in the building of this ukulele combine nicely to give the entire instrument that “Old School” look.   The overall beauty of this wood is accented and highlighted with the addition of luxurious  Blood Wood bindings. This instrument also possesses a solid Flamed Maple neck with an open head stock with Grover tuners and a “Beachcomber” style side sound port.  Inside this instrument, the hand carved fan bracing, accompanied with the  sound quality of the Maple wood, produces excellent overall sustain and “bright” tonal qualities.
